The
Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS), an initiative of the Arnold P. Gold
Foundation, comprises individuals who have been recognized for
practicing patient-centered medical care by modeling the qualities of
integrity, excellence, compassion, altruism, respect and empathy.
Members may be selected as 3rd and 4th year medical students, and as
residents, faculty and administrators at GHHS member schools. Our GHHS chapter at OSU was founded
in 2004 and honors senior medical students, residents, role-model
physician teachers and other exemplars recognized for demonstrated
excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to
service. We are also proud to join AOA and Landacre as a member of the
Honors Consortium here at the College of Medicine.
